Before Black Friday week and Cyber Monday hit us, I checked Debenhams ‘Up to half price’ sales section and found this beauty, 20 colourful Urban Decay eyeshadows for £30.10. (yes, please) that are not nude for a change (yeah, I get you) but still not on acid bright side, more like a vintage colourful pearly, iridescent with a few mattes in a big sturdy black plastic case with a purple UD jewel emblem and press-on open mechanism. It is a limited-edition collection that  span 20 years of Urban Decay history.

Let’s look inside, shall we?

Some shades might look unassuming  and a bit ordinary inside the palette (Roadstripe, I am looking at you) but once you swatch it or apply it on eye, you can see its potential. Don’t expect that it would colour your eye white, but you can use it everywhere, not only eye, where you’d like to add iridescent purple highlight, so ideal for winter ice queen make up.

Top row: Suspend, Oil Slick, Roadstripe, Midnight Cowboy, Gash

There are only 3 matte shades, 2 sparkle ones, and all the others on pearly side. Suspend and Anonymous are quite well pigmented for the matte but Laced is probably that one shade that is a bit behind the rest of the palette.

Second row: 501, Shallow, Laced, Hot Pants, Mildew

Third row: Smog, Misdemeanor, Freakshow, Asphyxia, Acid Rain

Bottom row: Moonflower, UV-B, Goldmine, Twice Baked, Anonymous

I think this palette is great for creating Christmas and New Year’s party looks and looks for the coming ball season if you are a socially busy person:)
